The Best Chirstmas Present

It's a tie between baby and this:

We weren't sure who's nightgown belonged to who but I think we finally figured it out. Thank you family for the cute matching gear! One for each of us, a little scarf for Stoli with his name embroidered, and a onsie for the LO come next winter! Hopefully Mike let's me wear mine...

Baby Press is doing just great! We had an appointment this morning and the measurements from the ultrsound last week were all great, my blood work was great, and we got to her the baby's heartbeat again. Merry Christmas to us! A healthy, very active, baby! We are 19 weeks and when Monday hits (as we are flying to St. Marteen), we will celebrate our halfway point! 20 weeks. The baby is about the size of large mango now but come next week I enter into cantaloupe! YIKES! Then we stay at cantaloupe for a month. Crazy. Without further ado...

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. I miss and love you all!

Love,
The Press Family!

Our Sweet Little Sweet Potato!

Week 18 seems to be the week where things happen! First, we got our essential nursery furniture (thank you Press family), had our 18 week ultrasound (baby sure likes to move), and I am 100% sure I have felt him/her. You all know we are waiting to find out the sex, which I am so freaking excited for! Mike says boy, Babcia Ola says boy, the midwife got a boy vibe, and some people at work say boy. I am not sure either way. I know that I had a couple dreams about a little girl but when I look at the ultrasound I think boy. Either way this baby is going to be the best thing Mike and I ever do in life and I can't wait to meet the LO.

I keep forgetting to mention this to Alex but our crib is part of the Alex line. It's super cute and we ordered it in natural color. Wasn't Sevy's crib in natural color? And remember how we used to be able to pop down the front railing, that is a no no nowadays. Also, we got the tall changer that one day will have bookcase up top, in natural as well.

Mike loved the recliner. And I made him pretend he was holding our baby. Looks more like he is performing a wrestling move on him/her...Also, we got the tall changer that one day will have bookcase up top, in natural as well.

But really, do you care about furniture. I know what you really want! ATTA BABY! :) Obviously a profile shot of the adorable one.

Now in this one to the right you will see a black hole. That is our LO yawning! The straight white thing coming up from below is our very mannered child covering it's mouth. Then you can see the eye is open and that one of the hands is above the head. Doesn't it look like a bear!?

And last but not least, what this baby is doing to me. It's not pretty but I'm accepting the fact that I am not fat, I'm pregnant.

The LO is moving up a storm and I am convince I am feeling her/him! It feels like knocking from inside...

ONIION! My Favorite!

Little peach is the size of an onion this week. I think a yellow onion...5 inches or so, so about the size of your open palm.

I am definitely showing but it is in between looking pregnant and looking like I am indulging too much now that I have caught my man. Take a look and notice our little boy Stoli. He seems happy too! I don't think it has changed a lot from last week but it's there!

The crazy dreams have continued. Mike antagonized a rhino the other night that eventually attacked Stoli and got him in the butt. I woke up in horror. Last night Tyra Banks was freaking out because of her cellulite and she looked like she was whitening her skin like Michael Jackson. And of course another dream from last night included Alex and her driving. She was mad at us for criticizing her driving so she showed us who was boss by trying to squeeze between a wall and a large storage container only to not make the sharp right because she was going to fast. She ran into some other storage type stuff. It didn't hurt us because we all started laughing.

Also, a few other things that have occured this week non pregnancy related. Mike and I received our Mikolaj gifts! Awesome and I guess now he really is a part of the family with his own stocking!

And we got our Christmas tree. Mike strung the lights and then decided to put a whole bunch on the top...you tell me how he did for the first time ever stringing lights!

On the 13th we have the next ultrasound!
