We're Back!

I know, I know. You were all so worried that I didn't post last week but have no fears I'm back! Mike and I took our last trip out west just the two of us to visit everyone in LA and on the way we stopped in Houston to visit with the yummy mummy's. Here are the cute kids we had the privilege of hanging out with. Leah belongs to Brooke and she is 5 and Drew belongs to Di and Andy and he is 2.5. They were great! Leah is the total opposite of our Brooker in that she LOVES being girly! And Drew has his own language that rocks any other kid I have ever met. I mean, who's child wants to watch the same Redskins game from 1990 something when they won the superbowl and yells at the tv in anger over a bad play!

And then here we all are minus Leah who was already in bed, plus Juli and her fiance Derek! Juli is a former JU dolphin soccer girl as well and hopefully will be joining the yummy mummy club one day!

After hanging out in Houston we flew out to LA where a very anxious family awaited our arrival. And where was our first stop! You know it! IN-N-OUT! We spent the week with family and saw nearly everyone which was great! Mike also got to meet the chickens, snuggle with Pi, and get his toes attacked by Apollo. I think it was a win win for everyone. Mom, Alex, and Babcia hosted the west coast baby shower and it was perfect. Perfect weather, perfect food, and perfect family and friends. It was the best! The presents were all equally amazing but I just have to highlight two. The Kobe Bryant onsie and the crocheted blanket and hat a la my favorite La Salle girls! Oh and of course those (DAMN) cupcakes! All the boys came over later in the day and we ended the day on a perfect note, with family and pizza and cupcakes!

Sitting here with a wood pellet stove really makes me miss that 70 plus degree weather but know that we (me, MIke, and Baby) miss all you west coasters and our door is always open to come visit! Just not the week after the baby is born.

Here I am at 28 weeks in sunny Malibu!

  1. We had so much fun with you and Michael and baby. The shower was a bit of a deja vu experience and a lot of fun! Before you know it, we'll be traveling to Plymouth to meet the new little Press baby!
    Can't wait......:)
